CoreCentric Solutions Expands Nationwide Parts Recycling Program; Arizona-Based Appliance Parts Company Newest ‘Core Collection’ Participant

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL , June 28, 2012 – Appliance parts remanufacturer CoreCentric Solutions has expanded into the Southwest with its Core Collection program to collect and recycle used appliance parts. Tempe, Ariz.-based Appliance Parts Company, with 12 locations, is the newest participant in the program.

Appliance parts remanufacturer CoreCentric Solutions (http://www.corecentricsolutions.com) has expanded into the Southwest with its nationwide program to collect and recycle used appliance parts.

Tempe, Ariz.-based Appliance Parts Company (http://www.appliancepartscompany.com), an appliance and installation product supply business with 12 locations, is the newest participant in the Core Collection program. The program encourages distributors to sustainably dispose of unwanted controls, timers, icemakers and similar parts that are commonly used in major home appliances such as refrigerators, ovens and dishwashers.

As it does with all participating companies, CoreCentric Solutions has set up recycling containers at Appliance Parts Company locations in Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Utah.

“It’s a win-win program for everyone,” explained Donna Barbic, CoreCentric Solutions Vice President of Sales. “Appliance Parts Company now has a greener disposal option, while we have a continuous inventory of parts and components that we can remanufacture for the service parts marketplace.”

As manufacturers introduce appliances with upgraded features and discontinue repair parts for older models, CoreCentric Solutions fills the void, rebuilding more than 20,000 components each month. The company remanufacturers parts to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards, and, whenever possible, enhances them with the latest technical upgrades so that they perform and function like new ones. All come with a full six-month guarantee. The company also offers a quick-turnaround return-for-repair service.

Appliance Parts Company joins distributors in 15 states that participate in the Core Collection program. Since the program began in June 2011, more than 2,500 used parts have been collected that previously would have gone to landfills.
